March 2012
Ladies and Gentlemen,
THE SEASON IS IN FULL SWING!
We trust that 2012 has started well for all our friends around the globe. Our marketing team reported that the annual trip to the USA was again most successful. The shows proved to be rewarding and, as I am sure most will agree, it was enjoyable to return to Las Vegas for SCI this year! Attendance was conspicuously up from previous years. The DSC show was - as always - out the top drawer. Congratulations to Ben Carter and his team for again setting new attendance and fundraising records! Thanks also (again) to Sam & April Spicer in Dallas for hosting a fabulous cocktail party at "our home away from home"! Hans & Rayno also thoroughly enjoyed their time in Houston - visiting old friends and new. Likewise, all were very enthusiastic about The African Sporting Expo in Charlotte this year and, with the Thornton's at the helm, we have no doubt that this show will continue to grow!
THE SEASON SO FAR: It is certainly hard to believe that we are already halfway through March. Time certainly flies! .... All the more reason to not delay in taking that long-thought-of-safari! Before we know it another year would have flown by! Already, our first safari of the season has come and gone. Chance and Katherine Parker kicked off our season on the 21st of February with a very enjoyable 2 week safari to Tanzania with PH Hans Vermaak. Chance added several stunning east African trophies to his wonderful ever-growing collection! Currently PH Darren Baker is hosting the Orr family at Rooipoort Game Reserve on thier "Spring Break Family Safari" which is going very well. Next to arrive are the Hofman's - accompanied by PH Jofie Lambrecht. The Hofman's will be hunting with PH Rayno Egner. And towards the end of March PH's Darren Baker and Clive Curtis will be guiding a group of friends from Mexico on a plains game hunt.
We will report on these and other hunts as the season progresses. We look forward to welcoming our 2012 hunters and their friends and families to our shores and we wish you all a rewarding hunting season.

Aaron Nielson This was my 14th safari to Africa, my 11th lion hunt, and my 8th lion trophy. I can say without a doubt, you guys have the most well-managed, and completely organized safari company I have ever dealt with. From beginning to end, and especially the detail brought about by Teresa with follow-ups, itineraries, help getting medication I needed, etc. I just have not experienced anything quite like it.
