April 2010

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We trust that 2010 has started off on a positive note for all of you. Not only is it hard to believe that the first 4 months of the year have already flown by, but that our first few safaris of the year has also already come and gone. We are pleased to report that it has been a successful start to the season!

We are looking forward to welcoming all new members of our safari family who will be joining us for the first time this year. Our entire team is eager to make sure all your expectations are exceeded. We also look forward to sharing another season with old friends who are returning for another installment of superb hunting, first class trophies, happy camp fires and entertaining fire side banter.

Our annual migration to the USA in January was another memorable and enjoyable trip. Coenraad, having missed the DSC show for a couple of years, was especially delighted to catch up with the “old guard” in Dallas. He was also very touched by the wonderful reception he received as guest speaker at the DSC Life Member breakfast where he regaled everyone with some very entertaining safari tales!

Once again, we are indebted to a number of wonderful people who always ensure we want for nothing during our trip abroad. Our sincere thanks go to our dear friends Sam & April Spicer, Chance and Katherine Parker, Gib & Lauri Surles, Richard and Sandy Beckert the Bannister family, John Estes & Tim Sikes. Lastly - as most of you are aware, CVS celebrates 40 years of excellence this year. To commemorate this special occasion, Christy Bass put on THE most splendid event at her home prior to the DSC show. The evening was, to say the least, perfect in every way. Thank you so much Christy for being such a gracious and attentive hostess and for your devoted support. We were truly blown away!

Now that the season is officially underway, those of you joining us this year will find that your departure dates will be here before you know it! So, please ensure that you have all your travel documents, weapon information etc in order in good time. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.  Being prepared will make a huge difference to your safari.

We wish you all good hunting and a prosperous 2010!

Aaron Nielson This was my 14th safari to Africa, my 11th lion hunt, and my 8th lion trophy.  I can say without a doubt, you guys have the most well-managed, and completely organized safari company I have ever dealt with.  From beginning to end, and especially the detail brought about by Teresa with follow-ups, itineraries, help getting medication I needed, etc.  I just have not experienced anything quite like it.
