Chance Parker & Darrell Lambert - HUNTING BOTSWANA & SOUTH AFRICA

Chance Parker and Darrell Lambert joined PH Hans Vermaak and team for a Big 5 and Plains Game safari. Darrell is Chance's ranch foreman and this trip was a treat from Chance to Darrell for 10 years of outstanding work on the ranch. This was Darrell's first trip to Africa.
The first part of the safari took place in the Kalahari were the main focus was a Leopard for Chance. The cat was to be hunted with the world renowned bushmen trackers of this region. On the 4th day Chance, with excellent shooting, bagged a magnificent Top Leopard after a truly exhilarating hunt. Watching the team of bushmen trackers following spoor hour after hour and being absolutely spot on every time was remarkable to witness. The day before, Chance had bagged a majestic 55" Kudu. With the Leopard in the salt the hunters headed south. The drive from Botswana to Rooipoort took the team 13 hours with a few hundred kilometres of road being only 2 wheel tracks of sand. The route traveled enabled the team to see a great deal of Botswana and in particular pass through unique places that few people ever see.
Hunting Rooipoort, Darrell's first trophy was a stunning 17.5" Blesbok. He then took a magnificent 15.5" Springbok, a huge Blue Wildebeest and on the last afternoon at last light a stunning Red Hartebeest. Thank you Darrell for a great time!!
