In July Hank and Elizabeth Sames joined us for another South African Hunt. Hank & Elizabeth's daughter Evelyn and nephew Richard also accompanied the Hunt.
The first stop for us was Rooipoort Game Reserve in the Northen Cape Province where a Zebra, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest and a massive Eland were in the bag in a matter of a few short days. Elizabeth also bagged a magestic Giraffe. This was Evelyn and Richard's first hunting experience in Africa and, as is customary for any first time hunters here, they were 'blooded' accordingly!
From Rooipoort the team headed off to our fantstic new gem - The Khamab Kalahari Reserve in the north of the country - where the safari continued to get better and better! Both Richard and Hank got their "banana" Pigs and Elizabeth added yet another Zebra to her impressive collection of stripes! Evelyn and Richard both took beautiful Kudu's with one shot each. Along with these, 2 stunning Gemsbok on the 40" mark were hunted by Hank and Evelyn. What an impressive tally of awesome trophies taken by really great hunters!
