Johnny Cavazos, Mike Hernandez & Carl Stormanns - HUNTING BOTSWANA

Johnny Cavazos, joined by his nephew Mike Hernandez and PH Carl Stormanns, hunted our excellent Botswana area during the second part of May. "None of us could ever have imagined how well this safari would turn out ...!" After just six entertaining days Johnny, hunting with PH Ian Newmarch, managed to get in a superb frontal brain shot on an Elephant bull at 18 yards. This majestic animal boasted beautiful, long, evenly matched tusks which weighed in at 65 and 63 pounds per side. This was the perfect ending to a long awaited hunt for Johnny. He went on to add a Zebra and a very large Warthog to his collection as well. This safari was the hunt of a lifetime for Johnny as well as a very rewarding one for everyone involved. Carl kept the gang constantly entertained on the hunting vehicle and long into the night. A huge thnks to you Johnny for allowing CVS to be part of this momentous safari!
