Visiting South Africa
All visitors entering South Africa must have a passport which is valid for a period of 6 months after their departure date from South Africa and which contains at least 2 blank pages; as well as all the necessary funds, airline tickets and paperwork required. No Visas are required for holiday visits by citizens of the following countries: (Please note this is an abbreviated list. Should you require a Visa, applications must be submitted together with:
- 2 passport size photographs
- Your original passport
- The details of your intended travel arrangements
- Return air ticket ( If requested. Please consult your Embassy/Consulate as sometimes visitors are advised not to purchase air tickets in advance in the event that a VISA is not granted )
- A business letter if traveling on business
- Any relevant fees
- and any other documentation that may support your visit to South Africa.

Visiting Botswana
All visitors entering Botswana must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months as well as outgoing travel documents and sufficient funds to finance their stay. Any visitor - whether visa exempted or not - that wishes to stay more than 90 days needs to apply for prior permission. No Visas are required for holiday visits by citizens of the following countries: (Please note this is an abbreviated list. - Letter of support from the host

- Return visa or residence permit from his/her country of residence
- Return air ticket (If requested. Please consult your embassy / consulate as sometimes visitors are advised not to purchase air tickets in advance in the event that a Visa is not granted).
- Confirmation letter from the country if the person is coming for business purposes
